Gabriel's Wishing Well

When Gabriel turned seven years old he asked for a special birthday present. He asked for a big pile of bricks and a shovel! I was perplexed and asked him why he needed those items. His reply was that he wanted to build a wishing well in our backyard so that he could make wishes for himself, our family and for others. I was so inspired by his idea that I decided to incorporate his wishing well into my endeavor.

"Gabriel’s Wishing Well" is part of my open forum where anyone can participate to do a good deed and grant a wish by donating resources, money, gift cards, specific requested items or services. I obtain wish lists submitted by families or charitable organizations in need and make arrangements for those wishes to be fulfilled  through you and through my endeavor. The "Children to Children" section of my website can help grant wishes for "Gabriel’s Wishing Well" through a variety of projects inspired by an individual child or groups of children.

A Dream Is A Wish The Heart Makes

Wishing can be powerful. It can create positive and forward moving energy! For me, dreaming results in thinking and thinking results in acting. I believe that wishing can help us set and prioritize our goals as well as help us to differentiate between wants and needs. These are all important life skills that children need to practice. Acting on our dreams can stretch us beyond our comfort zone and ultimately lead us to believe in ourselves. Our thoughts are the foundation for what our future brings.

Thoughts become words.

Words become actions.

Actions become habits.

Habits become character.

Character becomes your destiny.

Dreaming comes naturally to children. Children can make their own miniature wooden wishing well using the kit found in my "Merchandise" section.  Wishing can help children set goals. Children can make well wishes for themselves and others.  These intentions can be short term goals, long term aspirations or private thoughts.  These wishes can be outwardly expressed in written form on small folded papers and stored inside of the wishing well. These wishes can also be illustrated and submitted to my Art Gallery for all to enjoy.
